What will your generation's legacy be?
London175 convenes a diverse group of leaders, aged 18-25, from across London to address the question: "What will the legacy of our generation be?" Because after all, you are the generation who will shape London ahead.
In 1850's London congestion had reached a crisis point. A radical solution was needed and in 1865 the world's first underground railway opened. It was an immediate success and what would become London Underground went on to transform the lives of Londoners for the better.
Today’s young Londoners will be the city’s leaders when the Underground celebrates its 175th anniversary in 2038. We are inviting you to step forward and tackle some of the challenges London is facing today. Can you match the ambition of London’s leaders back in 1863 and create your generation’s legacy for London? London175 is your opportunity to come together with a diverse group of your peers, connect with established leaders across the city, generate game-changing ideas to address a real challenge for London and build the skills you need to become an innovative, resilient leader.
