Ayşegül is the Founding Director of Common Purpose Turkey.
Ayşegül attended the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara. In 1998, she completed her Master's degree in Educational Supervision at Pace University, New York and lectured on Communication Skills at Bilgi University from 1998 to 2000.
Between 2000 and 2007 she worked at the British Council, first as Istanbul Education Services Manager and then Turkey Exams Services Manager. She has presented her works on English education and cultural studies at international conferences. She is also a certified Cambridge University IELTS examiner.
During her time at Common Purpose Turkey, Ayşegül has delivered Meridian for senior leaders and Frontrunner for the new recruits of a leading telecommunications company based in Turkey. She has also delivered bespoke programmes, including those covering Diversity and Inclusion. A one-day customised leadership programme; "Add Value to Their Lives and Your Life" - focusing on "Leading Beyond Authority" and "Social Responsibility" was delivered for the senior leaders of one of the biggest holdings in Turkey.
Ayşegül spends her leisure time with people she has met through Common Purpose, having become good friends with many of the graduates. She also enjoys travelling to different countries with her family.
