Applications now open for Meridian and streetwise mba 2019

Meridian

Meridian develops leaders with the skills, networks and understanding to make an impact in their organization and across their city, using a real-world experiential approach. We convene leaders from every corner of the city to share honest accounts of their leadership challenges. We take participants to places and organizations where they can explore how leaders approach complex change in different contexts.

Since 2010, Common Purpose Hong Kong has conducted this programme for senior leaders from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, who have expressed growth in leadership qualities which include adopting different leadership styles, confronting biases and making better decisions in diverse contexts, embracing innovations and expanding network across sectors and boundaries. Continuing with previous success, we are launching our eighth programme which will run for four days in September (26-27) and October (10-11) 2019.

The streetwise mba

Since its inception in 2010, two streetwise mba courses have been run in Hong Kong. The next course is scheduled for early 2020.

The course is aimed at emerging leaders and is designed to enhance their ability to:

  • Explore Cultural Intelligence and inclusive leadership
  • Understand their biases and blind-spots
  • Broaden their perspectives
  • See challenges from the viewpoint of multiple stakeholders
  • Engage with people who are different from them
