China Youth Daily

The China Youth Daily is a popular official daily newspaper in China which is affiliated to the All-China Youth Federation, launched on 27 April, 1951 and is the first independently operated central government news media portal in China. In the 1980s, it was regarded as the best newspaper in mainland China with a circulation of 5 millions a day. Its present circulation is estimated to be nearly 700,000 in 40 countries. With distinctive characteristics of the youth, the newspaper also runs its official website China Youth On Line (CYOL) and subsidiary newspapers such as the Elite Reference, the Youth Time, the Youth Travel and etc. In addition, China Youth Daily has established 3 influential platforms for Chinese students for years such as China University Media Union, China Alliance of Campus International Societies and KAB Club.
