Common Purpose South Africa runs leadership development programmes and Cultural Intelligence programmes that inspire and equip people to work together across boundaries.
Whether you are in the early stages of your career and ambitious to rise through the ranks, or you are already in a senior position, you can choose from a range of our programmes to suit your needs. You can click on one of the programme buttons below to browse through what we offer at different career stages. We can also customize programmes to a specific brief.
Youth programmes are for young people aged 18-25, from across a city or country. They are an amazingly diverse group: some in employment, some not; some studying, some volunteering. Many will be passionate activists, others will be finding their own causes. Legacy Initiatives reach young people from very different backgrounds and beliefs – the only thing they have in common is their generation.
Shumani Tshifhango is young, emerging leader based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and an alumnus of our 2019 streetwise mba in Johannesburg. Witnessing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on those who are less privileged in South Africa, Shumani created the Thusa campaign. Thusa aims to provide South Africans in rural areas and townships with vouchers that can be used to purchase groceries during the pandemic.
