Common Purpose is an independent non-profit company that aims to create better leaders at work and in society. It runs leadership development and Cultural Intelligence programmes in many parts of the world.
Common Purpose South Africa was established in 2000. It is one of a number of international Common Purpose entities that operates under a licence agreement with the Common Purpose Charitable Trust.
Common Purpose South Africa has a BBBEE classification of level TWO, with company registration number 2000/016751/08. Its NPO number is 021-615-NPO. Common Purpose delivers programmes in a number of cities in South Africa.

Board of Directors
Common Purpose South Africa is governed by an independent Board of Directors. They are responsible for the strategic direction and management of the organization. Common Purpose Directors serve pro bono.
Africa Advisory Panel
Common Purpose South Africa enjoys the support of an Advisory Panel, who help us keep up to date with developments in their sector, encourage people from all backgrounds and sectors to apply to attend our leadership courses so that the open programme participant groups are extremely diverse, and ensure we maintain our independence. The Advisory Panel is voluntary and has no legal, financial, or managerial responsibility for Common Purpose.
