Marion Stewart took up the role of Chief Executive Officer at Common Purpose South Africa in October 2023. Prior to this, she was a Director at the Zenex Foundation.
Marion has broad experience across a range of sectors. These include running her own successful consultancy specializing in design and project management of large social projects. National Director for an Early Childhood non-profit organization working with families. as Managing Director of Boschenmeer Golf Estate, and Social Work Student Supervisor at Wits University. Marion lived in South America for 6 years.
Marion holds a B.A. Social Work Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Sustainability, University of Stellenbosch, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Wits School of Business. Marion is an active community leader, having held various roles. Currently the Chairperson of Rosewood Terrace Body Corporate, Board Member of Lower Rosebank Management District, and Chairperson of Rosebank Residents Action Group.
