RMIT is committed to preparing students for work and life, and ensuring all students can benefit from global experience. The University has partnered with Common Purpose to run leadership programs for staff and students across Melbourne and the Asia-Pacific region.

Who is eligible?

All students currently enrolled in an RMIT program; including RMIT Online programs, Exchange and Study Abroad students and RMIT programs delivered through Open Universities Australia. There is no minimum grade point average, age, study level or subject requirement. 

How much will it cost?

All Global Leadership programs are free.

Global Leader Experiences

Students develop CQ as part of a diverse, multi-disciplinary, international group. The programme takes them off campus to tackle a global challenge in their own city. To find out more about the Global Leader Experiences please select a city from the list below. 

City Challenge

Join the City Challenge and tackle a major challenge set by the senior leaders of your city. At the same time, develop your ability to thrive in complex situations and lead diverse groups to innovative solutions.

Global Leadership Forum

Disruptor or innovator, campaigner or catalyst, revolution or evolution: how will you change the world? For one day, discover inspiration and debate with 1,000 peers committed to standing up as the next generation of global leaders.

An interactive online programme that allows you to develop Cultural Intelligence (CQ). Drawing on the rich diversity that exists across all the RMIT campuses globally, you will come together to learn with and from each other through a dynamic, interactive online programme.
