Joanna Hancox

Joanna has worked for Common Purpose for over 11 years, initially based in the South West managing courses across Devon and Somerset before relocating to London where she worked on local, national and international programmes.

As part of the London team, Joanna’s role involved everything from designing and facilitating courses for university students, emerging and senior leaders; to planning and project managing the London elements of national and international programmes - such as CSCLeaders and the American Express Leadership Academy.

Since becoming part of the Common Purpose International team, she is responsible for the project management of the programmes we deliver across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Prior to Common Purpose Joanna worked for the Theatre Royal Plymouth and held a variety of roles, latterly in Business Development.

Voluntary roles Joanna has held include Chairing of the Referral Order Panels for the Youth Offending Service; helping young first time offenders to stop re-offending as part of the restorative justice piece.
