Anne Catterson

Anne Catterson is the Business Development Director for Common Purpose UK Student Team. Previous roles within Common Purpose include Senior Programme Director for Lancshire and Cumbria within the North West Team. Anne has a background in Business and Education. She is a qualified teacher, has a Post Graduate Diploma in Community Development and a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Manchester. Anne has worked in schools and Institutions of Further and Higher Education.

For many years she was the owner and Director of a successful franchise of The Body Shop, with five stores trading across Southern Scotland, Cumbria and North Lancashire.

Anne has, for several years, successfully operated her own consultancy business in both retail and education.

Anne has experience as a Governor of three Colleges and school. She has been a school Advisor and a Board Member for Young Enterprise, Board member for Cumbria Business Education Consortium. She has been a member of Cumbria and Lancaster Chambers of Trade and the Kendal / South Lakes Retail Forum. Anne is also a National Trust volunteer.
