Iphie is a UK qualified chartered certified accountant (FCCA) and a certified project management professional.
Her 16 years of industry experience, which spans the public and private sectors in the UK and Nigeria, includes public practice, media and advertising, FMCG, education, energy and international development. She currently works as a senior consultant in the development sector, notably in the UK DFID/FCDO-funded UK Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility programme. She has previously worked on other international development programmes - DFID Solar Nigeria Project; USAID-Deloitte Power Africa and Heinrich Boell Foundation, to mention a few. She has also held senior finance roles, including the position of University Treasurer at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), where she led a number of initiatives commissioned to improve ways of working in the financial management and operations space.
Iphie sits on the Strategic Advisory Board of Coal City University, where she provides support on how to upskill students, innovate disciplinary curricula to make them student-led, and facilitate effective personal development planning for students.
Iphie holds bachelors’ degrees in Botany (University of Nigeria, Nsukka), Applied Accounting (Oxford-Brookes University, UK) and a Master’s in Management (University College London, UK). She is an alumnus of the Executive Programme for Women Leaders from Stanford Graduate Business School, USA and the Common Purpose Global Leader Experience and African Venture programmes.
