Dr Atiya Mosam is a proudly South African Public Health Medicine Specialist who also holds a Masters of Public Health (Policy and Management) and a Masters of Medicine (Community Health). Atiya holds an interest in healthcare financing and economics as well as health promotion and prevention for non-communicable disease and is currently working at PRICELESS SA as a senior researcher.
Atiya’s passion for social upliftment extends beyond her career. She has been involved in numerous projects to increase awareness of and funding to various causes such a homelessness and HIV affected youth. She served on the Board of the Public Health Association of South Africa and is a current director of Common Purpose SA. Atiya has recently been chosen as a one of 20 Young Physician Leaders to participate at the 2019 World Health Summit.
