Eugene Ho

Eugene is an accomplished corporate affairs leader with close to two decades of experience in the Information Technology sector, he is also a respected speaker, having spoken at international conferences and schools about leadership, skills development, sustainability, technology, and volunteerism. He contributes to advisory and advocacy committees including Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs East and Southeast Asia and the EU-ASEAN Business Council. Eugene was involved in consultations and programmes with international development organizations including ASEAN, UNICEF, UNDP, UNV, GIZ, Commonwealth Secretariat, and the World Economic Forum on ASEAN.

As Global CSR Director at SAP, Eugene is responsible for leading and developing the company’s global CSR flagship skilling programs targeted at youths in need to reduce inequality in education and employment. He works closely with partners across the public-private-plural sectors to ensure that youths have access to the skill development and jobs opportunities needed to succeed in the Digital and Green Economy.

Prior to this, Eugene oversaw SAP’s CSR efforts across 18 markets in the East Asia & Pacific region as the Regional Head of Corporate Social Responsibility. He is responsible for grant management and employee volunteerism to support SAP CSR’s focus areas to accelerate social business, build future skills, and collaborate for sustainability. He was instrumental to SAP receiving many recognitions including the ASEAN Business Award (2021 & 2018) for socio-economic contributions to the region. The company was also recognized as a “Champion of Good” by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (2022 & 2020).

In addition, Eugene had led Corporate Affairs for more than 5 years in SAP South East Asia as a member of the Senior Executive Team, during which he had founded the ASEAN Data Science Explorers programme in 2017, impacting more than 40,000 youths over 6 years.

Eugene holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, a Bachelor of Psychology from James Cook University, a Graduate Diploma in Communication Management & Innovation and an Executive Certificate in Leadership from the Singapore Management University.
