Join Bradford150

Bradford150 is creating a connected community of young leaders – it’s your opportunity to tackle a real social challenge facing Bradford district and shape its future.

Bradford150 convenes a diverse group of leaders, aged 18-25, from across Bradford to address the question: "What will the legacy of our generation be?” Because after all, you are the generation who will shape the city by 2047, 150 years after Bradford was formally granted city status.

Bradford150 is part of Legacy; a global campaign by Common Purpose, which invests in young people across the world so they can become a connected generation of leaders with a clear vision for what their legacy will be. Click here to see other legacy programmes around the world.

Tracey Newton, Director of Colleague Experience, YBS

“As a Bradford-based organization that itself has been around for over 150 years we are proud to be involved with the Bradford150 programme as part of the Common Purpose Legacy initiative. We currently support many young people across Bradford through financial education and employability programmes. As it will be 150 years since Bradford was formally granted city status in 2047, the Bradford150 programme brings together 100 young leaders from the city to address what the legacy of their generation in Bradford will be and also provides them with the opportunity to work with current civic and business leaders to help them gain new experience and knowledge.”
