Christine Souffrant, a student from Hult International Business School, inspired by the learnings from a GLE launched the Smart City Weekend Dubai on 31 May 2014

Christine Souffrant, a student from Hult International Business School, inspired by the learnings from a GLE launched the Smart City Weekend Dubai on 31 May 2014.

Through her GLE connections she secured a Corporate Partner, DP World, and University Partner for the event where leaders from IBM, EY, Impact Hub, Department of Economic Development and alumni from the GLE collaborated to try and create a ‘happy living’ ecosystem in Dubai.

The second event will take place in April 2015 and then annually leading up to Dubai Expo2020.
