US Programs Director

Tina McIntyre

Tina started working for Common Purpose in April 1999 and still finds it fascinating.

Over the last 20 years she has gained extensive experience of designing and delivering experiential leadership programs for groups ranging from 8 to 800 in many different cultures and countries around the world; US, UK, India, Ghana, Australia, Chile, Brazil, Kenya, Hungary, Canada and Singapore. Tina has had the privilege of working with a hugely diverse range of people; from 14 year olds in schools to senior leaders from countries across The Commonwealth, and everything in between.

Two years ago Tina and her family moved to the US, where she has been at the forefront of designing and delivering all Common Purpose US programs. This has included student programs at Harvard University, University of Chicago and the State University of New York, the first US Legacy program – Chicago200 and the first Common Purpose streetwise mba program in NYC working with leaders from organizations including WPP, Viacom and Santander.

In the UK Tina held a variety of senior roles working with colleagues across different parts of the organization. Immediately prior to leaving the UK, Tina was the Director of the prestigious CSCLeaders program, delivered in partnership with HRH The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference, and worked closely with senior members of the British Royal Family and their teams at Buckingham Palace to develop and deliver immersive leadership programs for leaders operating at a global level.

Before joining Common Purpose, Tina worked for a civil engineering consultancy firm at sites across the UK.

As US Programs Director Tina is very excited about the opportunity to bring Common Purpose programs to different cities across the country, to work with a diverse range of interesting and inspiring people and to see how they go on to create positive change in their organizations and communities.
