Moawia Bin-Sufyan

Moawia brings a wealth of senior board experience in education, investments, housing, social care, and criminal justice over the last two decades. Currently, he is an Investment Director, Wales Regional Coordinator for a Military Charity (Care After Combat), Magistrate, and Governor at one largest FE Colleges (Coleg Gwent) in the UK.

He holds several other Non-Executive Director and Public Appointment roles including with the Ministry of Justice, Hafod Housing, Welsh Government, and is an Executive Board Member of the (UN) United Nations Association.

Moawia is the founder of a charity that provides health and educational services in South Asia. He is quinti-lingual and regularly lectures and speaks across the world on a range of issues, including education, criminal justice, and community cohesion.

Moawia is passionate about supporting and mentoring future leaders, having personally mentored over 500 mentees over the last 22 years. He is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Educators and the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers. He received the Freedom of the City of London in 2021.
