Mark is a partner with Helsinki-based N2, a Nordic design and communications group. Until 2016 Mark was a partner in the geopolitical arm of Bell Pottinger, when he moved full time to Finland. Mark previously worked for WPP as a global client leader, one of the first to put together cross-company teams that focused on global clients across the group. He was the first ever Chief Marketing Officer for KPMG.
Mark has directly developed international branding strategies and solution implementation for corporates like AT&T, Ford Motor Company, BP, Nokia, Vodafone, Andersen, KPMG, Ernst & Young, McKinsey & Company and others. He has worked in sectors characterized by perpetual controversy like GMOs (Oxitec), unconventional natural gas (Cuadrilla), and tidal range energy (Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay). His interests include energy, the built environment and conflict transformation. In Finland he has created recognized export programmes in the areas of power technology and construction safety, and created global positioning for a number of Finnish entities. He is an investor in Finnish startups with globally relevant propositions.
