Keely Cheong joined Common Purpose in 2017 as a Programme Co-ordinator. She is an alumnus of the Common Purpose Global Leaders Experience (GLE) student leadership programme. Prior to joining Common Purpose, she has completed internships with international organizations such as the Embassy of United States of America in Singapore, and the Asia-Europe Foundation.
In her role, Keely leads on the programme management of key regional programmes such as the ASEAN Leaders Programme and American Express Leadership Academy, Singapore. She also leads on key youth programmes such as the SG100 Young Leaders Programme and ASEAN Young Leaders Programme, where she manages key stakeholders, participant recruitment and their learning journey. Keely is also passionate about youth empowerment and has been selected to participate in workshops organized by the United Nations in crafting youth development policies and global youth dialogues such as the World Bank Youth Summit.
Keely is also currently pursuing a Masters in International Relations with the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University.
