Julika set up the Common Purpose Hamburg office in 2006 and managed it until she took over the role of Chief Executive of Common Purpose Germany in July 2014.
Since joining Common Purpose, Julika has been instrumental in ensuring that there has been ongoing innovation; she introduced a number of Common Purpose programmes to Germany and has customised many programmes to fit client needs.
Now as Chief Executive, she is focusing on growing customised and student work in Germany.
Before joining Common Purpose, Julika was a freelance consultant on educational issues for the German Technical Co-operation (GIZ), primarily in East Africa, and also worked for the British Ministry of Education based in London.
Julika holds a BA in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and an MA from SOAS/London University.
Outside of Common Purpose, Julika enjoys doing craftwork with her two children and spending her time cycling. Her inspiration for working at Common Purpose is that it allows you to be entrepreneurial, whilst connecting globally and acting locally for the common good.
