Vicky has worked for over 20 years in the voluntary/community sector, with a particular focus on economic and leadership development.
Having graduated in Business and Politics, she started out her career as Community Liaison for the NI Housing Executive. From there she went on to work in social enterprise development for an intermediary funding body. She then spent four years in business development with Citizens Advice NI. Following that, she managed a local community and economic development charity in North Belfast. Most recently she worked as Programmes’ Manager with Women in Business.
Vicky has an MSc in Political Communication and Public Affairs and has been actively involved in local politics for over 20 years. In 1998, whilst a member of NI Women’s Coalition, Vicky completed an internship in the First Lady’s Office in Washington DC, during Hilary Clinton’s tenure.
