Saira Philipose

Saira began her career in advertising, moved on to Response Relations at Bennett Coleman, The Times of India. After a ten year sabbatical, she went on to head the Bangalore branch of an American company in the healthcare sector for five years helping enhance careers of young women in the nursing sector.

Saira is responsible for supporting all programmes conducted by Common Purpose India apart from her administrative and finance role. She has played a pivotal role in supporting the American Express Leadership Academy in Gurgaon and Meridian in Bangalore and Mumbai; the Commonwealth Study Conference in London, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad & Singapore; and customized programmes for both government and private sector organizations. She ran the emerging leaders programme, Navigator, in Bangalore in 2011.

She considers Common Purpose as a learning journey for herself and is excited to be part of an organization that aims at making a difference in the lives of people, organizations and society as a whole.

Saira has two daughters and her husband is a Colonel (retired) in the Indian Army.
