Ed Kitchen is the Head of Uber Eats in Melbourne, Australia. Ed is responsible for the financial and operational performance of Uber Eats in Melbourne, as well as developing the go-to-market strategy for a number of new business lines across Australia and New Zealand.
Ed has had the opportunity to work and study in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Prior to joining Uber, Ed worked as a management consultant for KPMG, focussing on strategy and supply chain. Ed also worked as Group Projects Director for Common Purpose in London from 2014 to 2015, which was the beginning of Ed's relationship with Common Purpose.
Ed holds a Master in International Relations from Monash University, with a focus on conflict resolution and political economy. This included a semester on exchange at King's College London. Ed also has Bachelors degrees in Commerce (Finance) and Arts (Politics and History) from the University of Melbourne.
Ed is passionate about cities, sustainability and helping young leaders thrive in an increasingly complex and technology-driven world. Ed lives in Melbourne with his girlfriend, Steph, and little puppy, Rosie.
