Main purpose of the role

Common Purpose, a commercially focussed social enterprise dedicated to global leadership development, is currently looking for a dynamic and ambitious professional to join us as Programme Co-ordinator (Asia Pac). The successful candidate will have some experience of working in a Co-ordinator generalist role and experience of a hybrid commercial/not-for-profit environment would be a plus.

Overall Objectives and Person specification

The main purpose of this role is to support the work of the Singapore office and co-ordinate activities for Common Purpose programmes in the region. The role will require some travel across the region from time to time to support other Common Purpose activities.

Scope of the role

This role involves:

  • Systems, Data and General Office Administration
  • Supporting the CEO, Asia Pac with diary management with key relationships and Board Meetings
  • Supporting team members with their travels
  • Event and Programme Coordination
  • Marketing of programmes and managing social media
  • Supporting students team and customised teams whenever required

Essential qualifications, experience and competences:

  • Must be a team player who thrives on deadline-driven projects and deliver under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Tech savvy and a natural flair for social media
  • Excellent organising skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter and ability to get up and running quickly
  • An understanding of and commitment to Common Purpose’s mission, values and behaviours

 

Desirable qualifications, experience and competences:

  • An undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) in any subject
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Event organisation experience
  • Good knowledge of the area, its key issues, and significant organisation
  • Experience of proactively identifying and addressing issues
  • Experience of working in an office/ sales based environment
