We are currently looking for a dynamic and ambitious professional to join our Communications and Marketing team, to work as a Digital Marketing Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, analytical thinker to support Common Purpose in the delivery of a range of digital marketing campaigns.

You will work with the wider team to create, implement, manage, optimize report and analyse digital campaigns. You will lead on delivering our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy and the management of our Google Adwords budget. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a confident, proactive, resilient approach are key. You will be part of an agile team which is able to deliver results to a constantly growing business. Overall Objectives and Person specification

The main purpose of this role is to manage and optimize various digital marketing campaigns. This will require you to contribute to our overall Marketing, Social and SEO strategies, as well as using media monitoring software to analyse and optimize the effectiveness of our social campaigns. It also requires the successful candidate to work across the organization globally.

Scope of the role

This role involves:

  • Contributing towards the overall SEO strategy by improving and maintaining our onsite and offsite SEO and understanding how systems underpin the marketing function as a whole
  • Working with our creative team from the beginning to the end of the production process to ensure all new content is optimized
  • Creating and managing Google Adwords campaigns, working with a grant of $40,000 per month while taking a holistic view of campaigns in order to maximize their effectiveness
  • Being committed to creating efficiency through building sustainable systems   
  • Managing our CRM process to turn new data into potential leads
  • Innovating our online data capture system to create a system that is automated and efficient
  • Using Google Analytics to track, analyse and optimize website user journeys
  • Being driven and an analytical thinker who is diligent working with data and has good judgment and organizational skills
  • Using various analytics platforms to track, analyse and optimize the effectiveness of social campaigns
  • Using social listening software to track brand penetration and spot new opportunities
  • Having a strong understanding of how to communicate with different parts of the organization and respond to their changing needs

 

Person specification

Essential qualifications, experience and competences:

  • Experience delivering Onsite and Offsite SEO
  • Track record of creating and managing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Demonstrable knowledge of using systems to manage data
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Be an exceptional communicator; who is personable and professional both online and offline and has excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience using analytics platforms to track performance and create insights
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver competing tasks to deadlines, under pressure
  • Experience of establishing strong working relationships with colleagues from different functions, cultures and levels
  • An understanding of and commitment to Common Purpose’s mission, values and behaviours
