Common Purpose believes Cultural Intelligence is one of the most important competencies a leader can have. Leaders need Cultural Intelligence to cross boundaries: between sector, specialization, geography, generation, background and belief.

For over 30 years, Common Purpose has brought together diverse groups of leaders to develop cross-boundary leadership skills. In that time, we have developed a powerful method for developing inclusive leaders with Cultural Intelligence. Now we want to take this approach to global organizations so we can help them develop culturally intelligent leaders.

We want someone who can lead this exciting new marketing campaign and make the case for Cultural Intelligence to global organizations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the power of diversity, the importance of inclusivity and will know to communicate this in a compelling way. They will build a community of buyers and will deliver a multi-faceted campaign that engages audiences across many digital platforms and real-world events.

Position: B2B Campaign Manager

Department/Office: Communications & Marketing Department

Responsible to: Communications & Marketing Director

Salary: £28,000-30,000 per annum

Physical Location: London                 

Duration: Permanent Full time (5 days per week)

Overall Objectives and Person specification

The main purpose of this role is to make the case for Cultural Intelligence to organizations who want to develop inclusive leaders and create more inclusive cultures. You will engage new and existing clients on our suite of leadership programmes.

Overall Objectives

This role entails, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Build an engaged community of industry professionals
  • Maximise content and marketing opportunities from our industry events
  • Using story-telling and a creative approach to create compelling digital content
  • Work with our design and digital team to create highly effective digital and print marketing materials
  • Develop a multi-faceted communications strategy across email, websites and social media
  • Lead a PR strategy that achieves maximum exposure in industry publications
  • Maintain brand consistency and effectiveness across a multitude of face-to-face and digital touchpoints 
Person specification

Essential qualifications, experience and competences:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in delivering marketing campaigns (especially campaigns involving events-marketing)
  • Experience creating compelling digital content and marketing materials
  • Experience delivering PR strategies
  • An understanding of Leadership Development and Diversity & Inclusion, and the passion and experience to connect to its themes on a personal level
  • An excellent understanding of brand and how it can be built across multiple touchpoints
  • The ability to seek out and create strong relationships with clients and contributors
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver competing tasks to deadlines, under pressure
  • Experience of establishing strong working relationships with colleagues from different functions, cultures and levels
  • An understanding of and commitment to Common Purpose’s mission, values and behaviours
  • Being passionate about and sharing our mission to create a world that is more inclusive
  • Strong networking skills, being able to convince senior leaders to volunteer their time

  • Experience using video cameras in a professional environment
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro
