Zintle Mjali completed her under and postgraduate studies at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Zintle spent 2002 at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University as a junior lecturer. She completed her articles with Brink Cohen Le Roux Incorporated, a boutique corporate law firm based in Houghton, Johannesburg. She continued with this firm and was admitted as an attorney in 2005.
In 2006, Zintle joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, a large full service corporate and commercial firm, based in Sandton, Johannesburg. Zintle was involved, as a consultant in the panel discussions on the New Companies Act during the period 2003 ending 2006. She spent a year (September 2006 to September 2007) as a foreign associate in the mergers and acquisition department of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (New York office), a leading international law firm, where she was involved in a variety of U.S. based and cross-border transactions representing acquirors, targets and financial advisors.
On her returned, she joined McPherson Kruger Attorneys, a niche commercial practice based in Melrose Arch. She is a founding partner of Fredericks & Mjali Inc. Zintle serves as non-executive director of Circuit Breaker Industries Limited (a member of the Ruenert Group of Companies), African Cables Proprietary Limited (a member of the Ruenert Group of Companies), Common Purpose (South Africa) NPC, John Deere (South Africa) Proprietary Limited and Balondolozi Investment Services Proprietary Limited.
