Zareena was born and raised in Johannesburg. She prides herself on being an all-rounder, as a BSc student and avid sportswoman. She is majoring in psychology and physiology while continuously exploring her sporting interests especially in the field of touch rugby where she has obtained success at various levels, most notably as a senior provincial player. In addition to participating as a player she is also involved in coaching the girls at her former high school as well as the junior Gauteng Province girls.
She started working for Common Purpose in 2013 as Common Purpose South Africa’s Administrator and has recently moved into the Common Purpose Africa team.
