The challenge is 'What could be the future of energy in Commonwealth cities?’
The programme sees participants collaborate to tackle challenges that businesses, governments and society face today and build the global relationships needed by the leaders of tomorrow.
CSCLeaders is a partnership between the leadership development organisation Common Purpose and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh's Commonwealth Study Conferences (UK Fund).
"What I have witnessed has been transformational as the individuals overcome assumptions and form into high-performing focused teams, and this is what makes the Commonwealth Study Conferences so special."
The programme comprises of two parts, both of which are outlined below.
Part One is held in the London over six days.
Participants receive high level briefings followed by small group study tours to explore the Challenge and concepts of leadership.
The group reconvenes to share learning and develop practical proposals in response to the Challenge.
Part Two is an opportunity to address the challenge from the context of a different Commonwealth city, reconnect with each other and build on leadership learning developed in Part One.
Alumni are also invited to Part Two to refresh their learning and expand their global networks.
"A vital opportunity for experienced leaders to engage with a global network of talented leaders across the Commonwealth."
