Khuloud Al Nowais is a graduate of Portland State University,
USA with a Bachelor of Arts from the School of Business
Administration in Advertising Management & Marketing. Khuloud
has about 15 years of experience half of which was spent in the
private sector and the remaining in the philanthropic sector.
She joined the Emirates Foundation in May 2005 and is currently
the Director of Projects, with a particular passion in youth
development programs. She initially worked on the incubation of the
foundation and its youth flagship projects Takatof (social
volunteering program and Tawteen (youth empowerment program), lead
a re-structuring of children without parental care organization
amongst other projects. In December 2007-2009, she served for a
term as Board Member for the Abu Dhabi Emiratization Council which
is mandated to do job placement for the unemployed. Currently, a
member of the "Talent and Mobility Council" of the global Agenda of
the World Economic Forum.
Her previous experience includes being a Senior Analyst in the
Corporate Planning Department of Dolphin Energy Limited, the
company supplying gas from Qatar to the UAE and with her Marketing
background was involved in finalizing gas sales to the N. Emirates.
Prior to that assignment, Ms Al Nuwais was a Market Analyst with
the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
Khuloud enjoys challenges, and has the ambition and dynamism to
perform effectively beyond her responsibilities. She is experienced
in team management, project management, and building community
relations with the public and private sectors.
