Programme Director

Ria Flom

Ria is currently the Programme Director based in Common Purpose Ireland’s Dublin office. Her role involves building on the success of our key programmes including leading on the Meridian and Profile programmes for senior leaders and Navigator programme for emerging leaders.

Ria is a dual citizen of the USA and Ireland, originally from Minnesota. Her first introduction to Ireland was when she studied abroad at NUI Maynooth. After completing an undergraduate degree at the University of St Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota, she returned to Ireland and completed an MA in Humanities from DCU/All Hallows College. She has lived in Dublin since 2006.

Prior to joining the Common Purpose Ireland team as Programme Manager in March 2014, Ria worked in the not-for-profit sector, in the area of services for people experiencing homelessness. During her varied career she has undertaken a range of roles including frontline services, volunteer coordination, fundraising, communications, and event management.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures, traveling, and all things creative — including music gigs (of far too many genres to count), spoken word, and theatre.
