Isobel Phillips

Isobel joined Common Purpose Ireland in 2015, taking over the role of Chief Executive of Common Purpose Ireland in 2016. Isobel is passionate about providing leaders at all levels of experience with opportunities to learn from each other, broaden their horizons, and reach their potential, and believes that by creating the right conditions, we enable leaders to shine.

Before joining Common Purpose, Isobel worked as a freelance educational consultant and trainer, and worked for a youth work organisation designing and delivering youth development programmes including leadership initiatives implemented in Ireland and internationally, and working with partners including the Gaelic Athletic Association, US Embassy, and the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Isobel holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Sheffield, and an MSc Psychology and Masters in Education from The Open University.

Outside of Common Purpose, Isobel enjoys spending time with her family, crafting and baking. Raised on the South coast of England, she misses walks on the beach with the dog, but enjoys city life in Dublin and getting out into the Irish countryside.
