Farhad has over two decades of experience in the corporate and social sectors, having held a number of leadership roles, including that of CEO of Aga Khan Education Service, India. He has acquired international exposure and versatility, working with clients from various countries and industries / verticals.
During his time at Common Purpose, Farhad has met market demand by increasing the portfolio of programmes offered and tailoring these for different cities. He has established the Common Purpose brand across India, focusing on the key cities of Mumbai and Delhi - and delivered customised programmes for both the private, government and not-for-profit sectors.
He is a member on the Whiteboard (an initiative of iVolunteer, one of India’s largest formal volunteering organisations), that aims to bring skills and expertise to the social development sector through expertise offered by volunteers.
With his passion to contribute meaningfully in the social sector and his extensive corporate experience, Farhad brings a unique blend to the area of organisational leadership. He is always looking for ways to expand his horizons and create a bigger social impact through effective collaborations and partnerships.
Farhad graduated in Electronics Engineering from Bombay University, with First Class Honours.
He enjoys spending time with his family and going for treks. He dabbles in creative writing whenever he gets the chance, and his articles have been published in various magazines.
