An online module for Common Purpose Alumni:
begins 6 March
Develop modern leadership skills to work with people who are not like you
Over two weeks, beginning 6 March, you will be introduced to the concept of Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and explore its evolution and relevance as a leadership capability in today's diverse world.
Who is the module for?
Developing Cultural Intelligence for Leadership is a free online module, exclusive to Common Purpose Alumni. You can access the module anywhere in the world on a tablet, phone or PC.
How will you learn?
Over two weeks, hear personal stories from leaders who have developed their own Cultural Intelligence, which has helped them get to where they are today.
Complete activities and exercises with fellow Common Purpose Alumni, and begin to uncover the cultural influences that make you think and act the way you do.
Why take part?
Embrace diversity and explore its role in innovative problem solving.
“You like to think you have CQ when you’ve been in business for so long but this was about putting it into practice and really using it in decision making. The diverse mix was really helpful. You need to listen to people in business. I’d like to think I have a reasonable amount of flex but now, every time I have a conversation, I will think hard about where the other person is coming from, why are they saying what they are saying and try to put my preconceptions to one side.”
